"The vocal work and writing is just brilliant! Really takes me back to the old Tom Petty/Springsteen tunes. Glorious music!"”

Just months out from releasing their second full length album, 'What We're Leaving Behind', Evergone are branching out in ways the band wouldn't have imagined in earlier days, but the results are speaking for themselves as they draw in audience after audience throughout their recent dive into the largely untoured south coast of Western Australia.

In 2013 Mike Sukys left Perth with his family and moved 5 hours south to the beautiful south coast town of Denmark. Eager to continue his with his musical ambitions but 500km from the resources of the city, Mike began putting together a show involving just himself and his brother Pete. For the first time in their lives, covers were a huge part of the set. But not in a negative way by any means. In a few short months they had assembled a collection of classic covers that had inspired them throughout their song writing careers, with the intention of not only playing the songs they loved, but also to tell the story of what it meant to them and to share the significance that a simple song can have on our lives. .

2017 has already been a busy year for the Sukys brothers. Not only are they preparing to release the second Evergone studio album, but they're working hard to take their eclectic live show right throughout the far reaches of Western Australia in preparation for an east coast tour in 2018..
